Dr. Murali has served as executive vice president of care delivery and chief strategy officer at Marshfield Clinic Health System in Marshfield, Wis., since 2014, where he was heavily involved in driving and shaping its transformation.

As the new Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Murali will work closely with Institute Presidents to develop strategic plans that address client expectations, as well as quality and cost of care with the aim of driving change. for improving patient care and Geisinger communities.
Dr. Murali received his medical degree from the University of Madras in India, completed his residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania, and his residency at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Pennsylvania. Minnesota. He also completed a National Institutes of Health-sponsored Clinician Scientist Training Program and Kidney Disease Fellowship at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, as well as Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
