Prior to the February shutdown, the IMA team also ran a community medical clinic at Mdengerekeni Primary School in Mombasa, providing free consultations and medication to over two hundred and fifty residents of the Bamburi district. Its dedicated interns and local physicians have led the way and contributed greatly to the organization’s mission to improve access to quality healthcare globally.⁣
