The Medical Mutual SHARE award is given annually to a company that best exemplifies employee-focused community service, philanthropy and volunteerism. SHARE means “Serve | Help | Help | Go to | Educate.” Since 1998, the Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service has recognized businesses of all types and sizes that make outstanding contributions to their communities. Its goal is to encourage a charitable environment, recognize creative efforts that make a difference and demonstrate the connections between the for-profit and not-for-profit worlds.
This is Finit’s first time receiving the SHARE award. Finit has been recognized as a Medical Mutual Pillar Award recipient in 2020 and 2021, and received the Kent Clapp CEO Leadership Award in 2021.
“Some companies select a single foundation, cause or philanthropy in the community where that company is headquartered. Our culture promotes individual expression because we believe in empowering individuals to support what is meaningful to each,” said Finit CEO and Co-Founder Rob Cybulski. “Our company is headquartered in Cincinnati, but since its inception in 2002 it has been isolated by design. Finit’s philanthropic policy has always been to support local communities through our employees and corporate events.
“This approach allows Finit to impact countless people and organizations in many cities across the country through a variety of activities,” added Nicole Emerson, Finit’s Director of People and Culture.
Finit’s community engagement activities also include matching charitable contributions to organizations suggested by our employees, paid days for volunteer work, as well as the Finit matching gift program, Finit Advocacy donations, leadership in community organizations communities and participation in Adopt A Class in Cincinnati.
The result is that Finit’s efforts have had a positive impact on organizations and communities in Cincinnati and more than 25 states, many of which are smaller, lesser-known community organizations; some that rely solely on charitable donations – from food banks, health research foundations and crisis management programs, to animal welfare and arts organizations.
“Finit is truly honored to be recognized as the recipient of the SHARE Award by Medical Mutual. We do our best every day to live our core value of putting people before profit. It means serving others – our team members, our customers, our communities. We do our best to make it easy for our staff to volunteer in their own communities,” said Nicole Emerson, Director of People and Culture, Finit. “We appreciate that so many people are taking advantage of this opportunity. This recognition is really about the work of many people at Finit who invest their time, talents and resources in their communities.
A “virtual” Cincinnati Pillar Award will take place on February 9 to recognize all of the Pillar Award recipients, name the Kent Clapp Award recipient, and recognize Finit as this year’s SHARE Award recipient.

In 2002, the founders of Finit created a company where people matter more than profit. They liked creating solutions and working with technology, but were not happy with the approach of the big consulting companies. They believed that by doing great work and doing it with the highest level of integrity, they could create unparalleled experiences for customers and employees. Finit, with its unique business model, which pays consultants based on client satisfaction and not billable hours, has delivered 100% success to over 350 clients, including many Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, and more than 1000 projects. Finit consistently delivers value through great CPM solutions – with integrity and a constant focus on what’s in the best interest of the customer. Finit was the first OneStream partner and leads the industry with over 300 successful OneStream projects. Learn more about www.Finit.com.
