Details
Norwegian Fredrik Kayser was a brilliant designer who specialized in graceful, sculptural forms and had a passion for chairs. The Modell 711 Chair (1960), with its sleek frame and welcoming seat, was met with accolades from the start. Five decades later, Dag Hjelle asked Kayser’s widow for permission to put it back into production. “We must be very precise in making this chair,” says Hjelle. “Every hole of the upholsterer’s needle must be in just the right place.” Made in Norway.
